The Ameritas dental network is one of the five largest in the nation, making it easier for policyholders across the country to see the dentist of their choice.

Enjoy next-day coverage and no waiting periods on most dental insurance plans. There are no enrollment fees with any plan. Preventive visits, such as exams and cleanings, are covered up to 100%. Dental plans may include additional benefits such as LASIK, orthodontia or hearing care.

Dental (Ameritas Network)

  • Exams & cleanings covered in-network at 90% on day one (100% after first year).

  • Basic benefits covered in-network at 80% after one year to include Bitewing X-Rays & fillings (covered in-network at 50% on day one).

  • Major benefits including simple extractions, oral surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges & dentures covered in-network at 15% after one year (one year waiting period).

  • $50 annual deductible on Basic and Major services only, $750 maximum benefit on day one

  • PrimeStar Value Plan Monthly Rate (based on location): Employee - $19.19 *family rates available, other plan options available
